Most facilities realize that younger kids don't have the focus, attention span or physical coordination to handle a formal lesson program where lessons are one hour long. They require one-on-one sessions which is labor intensive.  Their solution is to simply not accept children younger than age 8 into their program. 

We decided on a different approach. We designed a lesson program that takes into account the younger child's attention span and physical limitations while still exposing them to horses and learning to ride.  That is what Pee Wee Pony Riders is all about.

We understand that a younger child's attention span is limited and that it is hard for younger kids to stay focused for an entire hour. Our instructor, Miss Stephanie, has over 45 years in the equine industry and over 30 years experience in teaching lessons. She has developed a successful program that works for younger kids, kids with no or limited horse exposure or kids with some attention deficit issues.
