Frequently Asked Questions
1. Where are you located? I can't find your address anywhere. We are on a private farm off Hartwood Rd in the Dodd's Corner area. We welcome visitors by appointment and we will provide the exact address once an appointment is made. People showing up without appointments and disrupting ongoing lessons have forced us to adopt this policy.
2. Is there any special equipment required? Yes. Students will need a proper riding helmet and proper footwear. You will be provided with detailed information on what to purchase and where to purchase when you sign up for lessons.
3. What payment methods do you accept? We accept Cash, Personal Checks, PayPal *Friends and Family* and Zelle.
4. What is your lesson cancellation policy? We require 48 hours notice to cancel a lesson to avoid paying a cancellation fee.
5. Can I bring my pet to the farm? No, we ask that you leave your pets at home as they are a distraction to both horses and riders. The farm owners have their own pets on the property and we don't want any fights. Pets may NOT be left in the car during your lesson.
6. How often should we schedule lessons? To see regular progress in a student's riding, we recommend weekly lessons at a minimum.
7. I want to do lessons together with my child. Our lesson format is set up for private lessons only.
8. How long are lessons? Traditional riding lessons are 1 hour long. Intro and Pee Wee lessons are 15-20 minutes.
